For me it is more about the styling. I am seeing these new spy shots of the new coupe (4 series I guess) and it resembles the body shape of the mustang.
I don't question the reliability. |

Ben, what kind of loaner did your insurance get you? Some kind of Ford or Chevy sedan? Must be miserable. Shoot, I'm pretty miserable when I even get a 328i as a loaner vehicle lol!

Since I have after-market springs (which are stiffer than stock), I don't even use EDC anymore. I set EDC to Comfort at all times. Setting EDC to anything stiffer (Sport, Sport Plus) if running after-market springs, makes the ride way too harsh and unpleasantly bouncy on Houston streets.
But if you don't have after-market springs, you may see some benefit to having EDC. Set it to Sport or Sport Plus on smooth roads in the hill country. Set it to Comfort for the bumpy roads of Houston streets. |

The ability to change the ride comfort is nice....if you didn't have it you won't miss it. I keep mine in normal unless I hit the M button and then it's set to sport. One good thing I have found is......when tires are going bald and the ride is rough, comfort is great.....in fact I had to use comfort today.......the beltway seemed rougher than normal....or is it time for tires
