Ny Parking Ticket

First I hold a MD license, I was in NY being touristy. Got the notice on my window on SUNDAY at 12:07 Noon , violation says " No STD- Limits" , no standing limits apparently.

Maybe I am reading the sign wrong, so what do you all think and how do I go about fighting it?

What does this mean to you:

Pretty sure it means no standing during the times listed on the top sign. I recommend you park in a garage in NYC. If there's a spot on the side of the road, most likely it isn't legal to park there.

What's in your sig?

To me it says that there is a 3 hour limit that doesn't apply on Sunday. The no standing is still applicable. Sorry dude, you got screwed by NY's poorly worded signage but the ticket is valid. The only thing that is exempt on Sunday is the 3 hour time limit.

I live in NYC, my dad always gets parking tickets. Can't do much except pay it. The wording on most signs is horrible and once you see multiple signs like the one u posted, it gets confusing to understand what they're trying to say. Just be careful and if something in ur mind hints you that you can't park...don't park lol

WOW WOW WOW thanks a lot. I was searching the website and here is what I can do.

" Based upon the violation number you entered, this ticket is eligible for a settlement offer. This means we are offering you the opportunity to pay a reduced fine. By accepting this offer, you are waiving your right to a hearing and agreeing to pay the reduced fine within 30 days. If you do not pay within 30 days, you will have to pay the full amount and any penalties "

NO STANDING-DAY/TIME LIMITS $125.00 $35.00 $90.00

125 up front or opt to reduce to 90 and waive the hearing.

I will do this $90 is better than $125. Thanks a lot folks
