I have an e90.. stock 19" wheels and tires and EDC. Was planning on getting the Eibach springs with 15mm spacers in the rear and 12mm in the front...I should expect no rubbing issues right?!?!

I was told that afterward the alignment piece of it is crucial as well!

No issues. You'll be good with the stock wheels/tires lowered on Eibachs with 15 mm spacers in the front and 12 mm spacers in back.

No... my setup (ZCP 19 x 9.5 ET27 in all four corners with 15mm rear spacers) is exactly in measurement as your proposed setup of OEM wheels with 15mm spacers front and 12mm spacers rear.

And there's no rubbing anywhere in my setup, and I'm running 275 tires all around as well.

Get this - I had Eibach installed a couple weeks ago by a suspension & wheel specaility shop & told them to put on the 12mm spacers in back & 15mm in front. I pick up the car and notice they are put the 15mm in the rear. I asked them about it & the owner trys to tell me "it is illegal" to put a lager spacer on front than rear, & refuse to do it.

So we have a few words and, because they still owe me the alignment, I don't get too off the handle. I'm having BMW put it right tomorrow along with my 1200 mile service.

There's no rubbing with 12 in front & 15 in back either.

You can't reason with some locals. They are hardheaded.

Actually, installing those spacers the way you wanted could be as illegal in Germany as installing the wrong snow tires in winter. Their TUV and modification laws are no joke...

I already spoke to the BMW dealer & told them everything - They are doing it tomorrow. No law, just BS cause they didn't wanna do it. Most places don't strive for customer satisfaction here. If they couldn't do it, they should have told me that upfront when I told them which spacers I wanted on the wheels. Instead, they just do WTF they want to with my car & I have to find out on my own after the fact.

I do like the Eibach set up & depending how it looks with the spacers, may decide to go with 18mm in front & keep the 15mm in back. Like the aggressive look.

i love the ride on my eibachs, perfect height especially after they settle in (yes they do settle in) and I'm happy i got those cuz i still scrape a bit from my impatient self. lol and i still wanna do RD sport :-X

No. BMW itself is offering, essentially, the same thing with its Euro-only "Edition" M3 - the car sits on stiffened, lowered springs. The H&R setup does the same, exact thing. Why would there be an issue? The EDC continues to work just fine.

i guess everyone with the Eibachs and ECD are still happy? no issues with shock wear?

I was reading about Eibachs and kept running into the phrase "Eibach for EDC." I wasnt sure if Eibach made these springs to work specifically with EDC or not, hopefully helping with the premature shock wear issue us EDC guys have to worry about.

Any input on this?

Purely for looks. Most seem the wheels look better with the tires flush with the fender lip.

With quality hubcentric spacers, negative issues are minimal to nonexistant. There is a very slight unsprung weight increase, and potential for slightly increased wheel bearing wear (no different than running wider wheels with more offset). I don't think either is of concern, though I won't go more than 12 mm with the stock wheels. (Many have used 15 mm ore even 18 mm in the front).

I did not have any problems/errors. This car was sold almost a year ago with the Eibachs and the new owner have not reported any issues to me so far.
