Jan 14-15 Track Days

I noticed both Autoclub(speedventures) and Chuckwalla are going off the same weekend Jan 14-15.

Anyone going to hit up both? Maybe Autoclub Sat drive to Palm Desert and grab a hotel and then hit Chuckwalla Sun?

Indeed. Did exactly that combo back on September 17 & 18. Great time.

I recall Ricky did the same that weekend, but in reverse. Our paths must've crossed on 10 freeway somewhere.

Well, join us. Looks like dapopa9 and I will be doing Autoclub/Fontana (speedventures) on January 14th and Chuckwalla (starcarsports) on the 15th.

Does Starcarsports use transponder?

Not sure..you would have to call the track. I think last time I was there they had timing setup but you had to have your own transponder. However they are always getting new stuff out there so they may have ones for rent now.

I would like to have an official recorded lap time from them. I could go through a set of tires in a day at Chuckwalla, if I don't get anything out of it, it won't be worth.
