Lightbulb M3 / z4 35is wheel swap

My buddy with a 2011 E93 M3 (220M) wants to switch wheels with my 2011 35is (326M). Anything I should look out for/need to know? Comments/suggestions?

TYIA,
Dmitry

That doesn't sound like a good idea for either one of you. He's likely to have handling degradation and you're going to have fitment issues. The 326M is a beautiful wheel and very much in demand in z4 circles so if you want new wheels you shouldn't have problems finding a buyer. This is a lose-lose-lose for you from a headache/financial/aesthetic perspective.

I would guess that the offsett on the 326m would be too small for the M3 and the 220m wheels would rub on the 35is without a fender roll.

I was thinking about trying it since I have both cars but like ppl are saying, I don't think they would fit.

Thank you for all the input! Don't get me wrong, I love the 326Ms on my Z. The swap was just an idea, and it would be interesting to see an M3 with 326M -- and a Z4 with 220M (not too many of this combo on the road)

We'll see what happens...
