Restaurant

Mo to Fr: 11.00 – 22.00 Uhr
Sat: 10:00 – 22.00 Uhr

The Meilenwerk is a place were you can go to look at some classic cars, have a nice dinner or lunch, go shopping for car related gifts or have some repairs made on your classic car, hold a classic car show – all in one place. Meilenwerk has set up these classic car centers all over Germany. They are located in: Hamburg, Berlin, Düsseldorf and in Zurich (CH).

The Meilenwerk is really a cool place to hang out and spend a few hours looking at classic cars. Ofcourse it is also a place where anyone can store their special one of a kind classic car too. And swing by to take it for a spin. Its sort of a public garage of sorts. A very upscale one. Have a look for yourself…

Dackel

Some pictures from the web…

The Meilenwerk in Düsseldorf used to be a former train park haus. Today it is a classic car lover’s paradise!

Onto my photos…

When you get close… just follow the street signs for: Classic Remise (bottom sign on pole)

The entrance…

Walk with me inside…

You can store your classic car in one of these glass boxes…

F40… MMmmm…

Morgan shop…

Little Morgan…

Just one of the many cool shops inside the Meilenwerk

Inside the BIG room (tent-like)…

GOD! I love these old 3.0 CSL’s…

A lot of the cars here were up for sale…

This was one of the cleanest Z1’s I have ever seen! Not even in the BMW museum have a seen such a great example of the first for the Z series…

I did not know GMC made an El Camino pickup…

Dino…

Upstairs…

One of the many shops at Meilenwerk…

The End.

Next time you come over you MUST go! It was really a cool place to look around. And also because the cars are always changing. Kind of a living car museum of sorts.

Btw... in Frankfurt they have one too - but its called: Klassikstadt.

Awesome!!! Though it pains me knowing that most of those cars may never see the asphalt again. Some epic drivers cars are in there

I just noticed on the Meilenwerk website that since 2011 this place no longer is associated with Meilenwerk Group. So now it is called: Classic Remise in Düsseldorf.

IF anyone is in the area... we will be having a bunch of 1er's meeting here this coming Saturday Aug 11th, evening. Just drop me an PM if you want to join us.

I was there today. Looks like they get a fairly good turn on the cars - many of the cars in your photos were not there today. Lots of cool stuff though.
