T1R Sparrow Exhaust Installed (Pics and Vids)

I've known the guys at AJ-Racing and T1R for a really long time as I come from the s2000 world where they were most well known for their time attack S2000 that won a number of events a couple years back.

I ran a T1R Sparrow exhaust on my first (of four) S2000s and a T1R exhaust on my fourth S2000 (magazine and track car) as well. I've had nothing but good experiences with their products and service and have admired the design of the T1R Sparrow exhaust for the E92 long before I even considered buying an M3.

I originally purchased an AE Performance exhaust and decided not to install it in order to purchase a T1R Exhaust. I trusted the design and sound would be everything I was hoping for and it was. I installed it this morning in my garage and it was a breeze. I LOVE the look and the sound...super happy with the purchase. I was originally planning to put an x-pipe on, but now am not sure I'd want to risk changing the sound. Here are some pics and vids:

whoa didnt know they had an exhaust for the e9x, had one on my s2000 and loved it!

I remember there were many complaints on the Evo forums of the T1R being too loud for daily driving.

These guys should stick to the JDM/Tuner scene. Exhaust sounds nice? YES, on a Subaru, S2K or Evo. Doesn't belong on an M3. Nice design but still; Gintani, Eisenmann, AE etc that's where it's at.

Gintani and AE are American companies, not Euro. T1R is not JDM either, it's Taiwanese.

It's not about where a product is made or what kind of market it is for. As long as the product is good, I could care less where it is from.

I never once referenced to where any of the mentioned products are made. As for what kind of market these guys should stick to, that was just an opinion on my behalf. I don't like the product personally for the M3 that's all I said, yes for S2K etc it is above great but you wouldn't catch me running it on my E92. Same as you wouldn't catch me running Megan Racing etc. No matter what anyone says or wants to believe that 'fart can' sound is still present.

lol..i feel like back in 2005 when I put volks on my E46 M3 and all the idiots came in bashing me why I put Japanese parts on M3 when they are putting china made iForge and DPE on their riced out euro-trash M3 with dumb looking lips, blacked out shit all over and half ass mods.

Just cuz something is euro doens't mean its not rice...you can rice out any car even if its euro. Just because a company usually caters to a JDM market their exhaust sounds "fart can"? please... the new rice is called euro-trash.

i doubt they made this exhaust... they probably bought it in taiwan somewhere

I remember reading T1R was selling Fake J's Racing Exhaust...

so this would be likely to be just a Megan but maybe its made out of TI...

nonetheless this is a pretty darn good exhaust... just hope they arent selling an arm and leg for this set up...
