You know your dim sum. I'm also a huge fan of the Shanghai-style dumplings.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xiaolongbao I wish we had Yank Sing quality dim sum in LA. There is a place in Monterey Park that is supposed to be first class, but I haven't made my way out there yet. |

No. I think a lot of people haven't tried it.
Dim sum is nice because it's different than what most people perceive as traditional chinese food (i.e., fried food drenched in sauces). Many dim sum dishes are steamed so they are very light, not heavy at all, which is refreshing compared to your average "American" Chinese food. Try it sometime. You'll enjoy it! |

Does Dim Sum do all you can eat like KBBQ / Sushi or do you just go in and order different dumplings?

I know but if I'm trying something new that has a ton of different options then might as well do AYCE to get a better feel for it so I can try a ton of options without breaking the bank.
