Question what symbol is this

I was plying with the bottuns on the turn signal stalk and came accoss this strange symbol.

I have the option to turn in on or off. Does anyone know what it does?

When I get home tonight I'll have a look in the manual however if anyone knows they would save me the trouble

Cheers!

and the answer is......

I couldn't wait so I downloaded the manual from the internet and found out that this is another way of turning on & off the shift lights. I guess it's more for those who don't have iDrive.

You got it! It's a pretty cool feature, I don't ever use it to tell me when to shift but the lights are cool

It may prove useful out on the race track
