DCT Launch Control RPM Adjustment

According to the manual, we can control the launch speed of the rpms. I can't seem to lower mine and I've followed the directions.

1. Once I have the flag and I have the accelerator floored, I'm pulling back on the speed control past the resistance point (double click-all the way back). The rpm's are not coming down!

Launching from 5500 spins the tires too much. My very first launch on the car I somehow launched from a lower rpm and got no wheel spin! How i did this...

Nobody with DCT ????

I tried but couldn't figure it out either. I just had Active lower the rpms for my LC to 4000K(thru their software) and it works much better now. Not nearly as much wheelspin

I believe you have to push the speed control switch away from you to lower the rpms.

Its still not working. Tried pushing forward and pulling back cruise control stalk while flooring accelerator and LC flag present. WTF!

it has to be software then...thats the only other reason i can think of honestly.

Akash - i think your right. I'm considering getting the DCT software from ESS or Gintani which would eliminate this issue as they can fix it. Problem with ESS is i dont know when they will be in town next. Lomotion in Poughkeepsie can do the Gintani for me.
