Haha, the 335i being my first bimmer will always have a special place in my memory- really an amazing car for the money.

N54 is a great engine. Not only is it a powerful engine; it is also a classic inline 6, which is what BMW is known for. I can't understand why people talk down on the engine when it is the fuel pump that is failing.

S65 is already a legendary engine but we have also heard about main bearing failures, which could lead to catastrophic engine failure.

These are expensive toys we are playing with!
