Hard to tell from that postage stamp, but it looks like the photog may have been thinking about the rule of thirds instead of looking at the whole frame. Her head is practically bulls-eye in the rule of thirds crosshairs.

rodi, liven up this thread with pics of hot chicks that you photograph.

TL usually finds some random women walking around in NYC or Boston... but who knows where the hell he is. Hopefully he didn't get maced by one of them.

Only at the very bottom is the little * indicating that the 4K movie mode is really only APS-H 1.3 crop, vice the 35mm. Yeah, the info is on the page, but not up in the main text where the 35mm and 4K record rate are just a few words apart...

Nice video cap, though...I think Canon will always lead Nikon when it comes to video.

Cheers

RED's announcement kinda screwed over the Canon C300 though. Killer cam, killer price, imo.

the APS-H is closer to Super35 - which is cinema 35mm. Red is kinda doing the same thing: the 5K 12fps STILLS is the full sensor area, where the 4K video recording part of the sensor is Super35 sized, which is close to the APS-H height. Also, RED does the 5K, 4K, 3K, etc.. difference by using a smaller portion of the full sensor, as opposed to taking the whole sensor and downsizing like the 5D2 does. Make sense now? That's why they have the disclaimer.

might return this rokinon 35mm.
1: even with my updated viewfinder, i could not for the life of me get this thing in focus on sunday. and i can't find any legit matte/split-prism focusing screens for the D3.
2: i'm so used to pulling focus on Canon's now, that I think Nikon is "backwards" and it was confusing me at a wedding on saturday. :\
3: the EOS to F-mount adapter I bought from Cinevate is shit. it doesn't feel solid at all. while the lens feels rock solid when mounted on my D3.

and i leave you with the only good test shot so far:
