Performance center in the winter
Anyone pick up there M3 at the Performance Center in the winter (Nov-Jan)? I know it can snow there sometimes and gets kind of chilly. Just wonder if it is still a good time on the track in crappy weather?

I did my PCD last month. Rained most of the day and did not slow us down one bit. Differences are no smoke during M5 hot lap. Did not need to wet down the skid pad. Because everything was wet and slippery I think I got an even better feel for how much DSC can save your ass. Plus the stomp on the brakes drill was an eye opener. Car still stopped very quickly and undercontrol despite the moisture. I live in Spartanburg and it will snow once or twice a winter but does not sit on the roads very long. I would not let it scare me off.

I had my delivery the same day rhird had his. It sure rained a lot but if anything it was more fun. Yes-DSC sure saves our butts when its bad out there.
To answer your Q OP-I had asked the same question to the instructors and they said that delivery's are not affected except for when it snows like crazy. |
