Is there anyway you can test fit a rear OEM 18" wheel to see how it fits over that 380mm BBK?

Do the rear wheels even fit on the front offsetwise? I've been told they wouldn't clear my suspension so I couldn't even mount them up.

Others have tried and its fit. I think the issue is the 265/40 tire which rubs the fender liner at full lock. I would like to go with the 380mm BBK, OEM 18x9.5 wheels and 275/35R18 tires on the front axle.

Is there anyway you can swing a test fit and snap some pics? I can compensate you for your time.

The OEM rear rims fit the front just fine, but the wheel wells don't have room for the OEM rear tires because their diameter is too large and they rub. You can run up to a 275/35 (same diameter as the stock 245/40) up front (some brands rub, some don't) on the OEM rear rim. I even tried a 285 at one point, but it rubbed at full lock.

The OEM rear rims have more clearance for a BBK than the OEM front rims. The rim face is moved further outward, creating more clearance at the face of the caliper and more room between the radius of the caliper and the barrel of the rim.

Thanks for the info! Theoretically the rear OEM wheel should clear the 380mm ST kit with a smaller spacer or no spacer, correct?

Yes that "helped" me make a large donation to M-World yesterday for the 380mm kit.
My measurements with the stoptech template shows about 2mm of clearance with the 12mm spacer so it seems like the standard caliper has similar dimensions to your trophy kit. I'm comfortable with that since spacers are only needed for my street setup. My track wheels have plenty of clearance without spacers. Time to start shopping for track pads..

With these Stoptech BBKs are you running the BBK on the front and rear or just front?

To fit Stoptech trophy 380mm with the stock 18's in the front you need a 15mm spacer. Not sure yet if the 380mm kit will fit in the rear.

From what I understand most people do 355 in the rear. There is a post on this forum where a guy did 355mm on the front and rear with the stock 18s. He took some good pics to see how they fit also.

I do not believe Stoptech make a 380mm rear caliper.

No brake balance issues with just having the BBK in front? Out of nowhere, the trend seems to be going towards replacing all corners. I still think this is nonsense.

Basically what dapopa9 said. For me personally I've notice no major negatives in having a BBK front only kit. Everything seems to be working out well.

Thanks,

I posted the following back in 2009 when I got my AP Racing bbk. I did both axles eventually but I ran front-only for a while:
