That's absolutely ridiculous. I'm not a safety freak either... he endangered himself and those around him.

I actually saw another car do the same thing this past weekend, I'll see if I can find the picture that was taken by Tracktime Photos. I know they got the pic because I was standing right next to the photographer. They ran their endurance race while my run group was on break.

Here's the photo of something similar this past Sunday:

dangerous and unnecessary, he should at least get black flagged for a stop and go.

if it was a hpde (someone stated that it wa not) the driver should be banned

Folks with uncontrollable reactions like that should be spectators, not drivers.

That was stupid for the cars sake, he nailed that concrete corner. I guarantee he bent that wheel.

Regardless of the wisdom of the BMW driver, WTF was up with the Porsche driver drifting over to the left and almost putting him into the wall? That's just as bad.

The porsche's lines aren't that bad and obviously he is setting himself up for the next right turn. I hope that e30's car is majorly screwed up from the wall because that was plain stupid.

And the e30 didn't own anyone but the huge dent in his car from the stupid pass.
