if its someone who doesn't know what its doing.. I don know...

Overall sounds like a bad idea though

too much of a risk to put 39K I'd never do it on any used M3

unless if my grandpa was driving it (i.e.: If I had guarantee there was no abuse)
The previous owner was a fitness trainer, took great care of her self and the car. She also had a daughter in kindergarden. They just needed something more practical/a safe vehicle for the winter. The baby seat in the back of the M3 was funny when I first went to go view the M3 though.

Tint laws vary drastically from province to province.

In Alberta, you are allowed zero tint for the front windows while you can black out the rears entirely.

Pretty sure BC is the same.

He already bought it! Within one day of posting the "how's this deal" question.

BTW, tint laws in BC are anything goes on the back and rear side windows, NOTHING on the front windows and windshield.

OP, why would you buy PS2s when the next generation and more superior PSS is out, and is actually cheaper than PS2s? and yea, let's see some pics!

Thanks for the tip Chowster...I probably would have ended up buying the PS2's. I just thought it would make more sense purchasing the tires the car was made to come with. So the tires I should be looking for are the Michelin Pilot Super Sports? Heres a link, let me know if these were the ones you were talking about:

Are these the tires the new M3's are coming with now? I'm going to Langley BMW tomorrow so I'll check anyways. I haven't even taken any pictures yet...but I will tomorrow. Cheers

Sounds like You'd benefit from doing some reading around the forums. You'll learn alot about our cars.

Yes, Mich Pilot Super Sports. OEM tires are PS2s, P-Zeros, or CSC3s. Pure luck which one.

Let us know how Langley BMW is - I haven't dropped in there yet. Another Christian Chia OpenRoad dealership.

Mint shape, only one claim of $1500 (repainted bumper). Lady-driven, she wants to sell to get a SUV. She said her bottom dollar is $39k (CAD). Is this a good deal? Anything I should look for? Thanks in advance.

That's probably 10K under what these cars were selling for in early summer.

Average Price = $52,000 CAD
Minus US Car -$2,500 CAD (can't CPO it for Canadians)
Minus KMS - $2,500 CAD
Minus Misc Items
(tires) - $2,500 CAD

Equals $44,500

I think you are getting a great deal and even better if it has new tires, brakes etc.

Agree.... great deal. But when things are SUPER cheap (aka a great deal), I get a bit weary of WHY exactly it's so cheap. Not just cars, anything! Hope the car checks out.
