Just got the new wheels on after over 3 months of waiting!

The specs:
DPE SP-SC 5s (20x10.5, 20x9), unknown offsets, Matte black on gloss black
V12 Evos (305/25/20, 255/30/20), seems to rub on the right front of all places

, but very infrequently thankfully.

This is just a sample from my iPhone... I really want to get it shot properly now. let me know if you or someone you know would be interested! And thank you everyone for all the support/info/compliments, etc. It's at a great place for now I feel

Car looks great...i'm just not so sure what makes this xpipe so much better.

Is it piping diameter? 2.5? or 2.75? I see the X section looks pretty open so it appears to merge in what would almost be one big round pipe before it splits off again. Thats the only thing I can think that would attribute to the gains. I know some xpipe designs don't merge each bank enough, they are too small of an opening in either one of the pipes.

Anyone have any insight to why this setup is superior? Thanks guys.

I also received the MRF X pipes and had them installed yesterday. The guys who did the install know their stuff when it comes to quality. They made a number of positive comments while installing mine. And based on their reaction, I feel that I don't know enough to really appreciate them because I felt like had the shit and didn't know. The comment that stuck out the most was like, where did you get this, this is really, really top notch, give me his info.

dropped my car off today to be wrapped! it's going to be matte black, but I want to develop a subtle theme. I'm thinking of having gloss black accents on the following:

mirror caps
splitters
diffuser
hood vents
side gilles

thoughts? I'm open to some ideas– I want to try and do something a little different, so surprise me if you can haha. And here's another picture from Bavarian Exclusive w/ a little editing from myself

. My gf and I were heading down to LB and saw you getting off going the opposite direction. I don't take my M's on trips.

oh, niice! Yea, i was going to say.. I was only on the 405 for 3 miles between the 91 and my exit

noooooo dont do matte black! Jerez is so beautiful with everything you've got going on!!!

If you wan't to wrap then do matte white and leave those areas (mirrors splitters and such) jerez. matte white is far less common and looks way better imo. But if it were me I'd leave it jerez

I agree that Jerez is a pretty amazing color– it definitely grew on me more the longer I had it. And I figured that the matte black might lose a couple people as I've noticed it's likely the most polarizing mod to do to a car– you either LOVE it or HATE it. Some people think it looks cheap. (not when done properly IMO– which will be the case). Some people think it looks tacky and played out. (I completely disagree– its a nice detail. Clear coats are played out

) They were finishing a wrap on a GTR when I dropped my car off.. that thing looked mean as hell, and far from cheap. When it comes down to it, this will help protect my car from the perils of DDing duty, and make it look even more aggressive in my eyes.

I do like your idea about matte white and leaving the Jerez to show through tho– that would be a really sick color combo. I kicked around going to matte white, but it just wasn't me... and if you knew me, you'd know I love the color black by a landslide.

Always bet on black.
