I know there are a couple fire orange in the states, but factory painted? Don't know. That makes all the difference.

Exactly. I've seen pictures of a Fire Orange E90 M3 and another E92 M3, but they were conversions -- not originals. I think that one from the shoot is the only that has come over stateside from the factory.

Then again, I'm not tracking every car that BMW makes -- I just regurgitate what I see (or don't see, in this case) on the internets.

There are at least 3 factory painted Fire Oranges in the US (2 E92s, 1 E90) with another two that I know of on the way.

I was referring to Dakar Yellow, there are a few running around SoCal.

My mistake. Yeah there are a handful of Dakar's out here in California. At least 3 that i know of, possibly a couple more. Bet mine's the only one with piano black interior though

There's the Fire Orange E92 M3 in CA. Here's a link to a Fire Orange E92 M3 in MD. Also David Aviles (EuroCarsOnline) has a Fire Orange E90 M3.

And here is an E90 M3 (808_135i) on order.

I assume you're talking about the Socal shoot. The E92 in CA was in that shoot.

Interesting. Will (the dealer who brought that FO E92) said that it might end up with a Mississippi buyer. I guess that sale fell through.

time for an eye exam, it's a matte wrap that doesn't even include the side rails, let alone the A-pillars which are completely different than a coupe.

But if you're still doubting all these factory painted fire oranges, feel free to search for the dealer's name to see a profile picture.
