I hit one in my 335 (pre-M3). The front lip decapitated the poor little bastard.

Garage List
1999 VF BMW M3  [5.00]
2001 BMW M5  [0.00]
2008 135i  [5.00]
2003 M3  [3.10]
2011.75 BMW M3  [4.17]
2009 STi  [3.83]
Things I'd be concerned about are items that are subject to shock damage such as suspension and odds and ends like the xenon levelers. When I sold my E46 M3, the guy ran over a pothole the next day and had to replace the above items.

I've hit some nasty potholes, and they always sound a lot worse than they are. I've never had a situation where ground clearance would be an issue, but it would have to be something pretty stubborn to do damage to undercarriage components.

No, I meant that Rabbit was so big that he could be my co-pilot on the next RALLY, so I wondered if my Racing Helmet would fit him.
