if i remember correctly...this is not a fox red recaro seat.

its not even a fox red interior

he redid his interior to match the color of the seat...not seat to the interior.

The red on recora is a bit more extra than black. If you want red, buy it from recaro. But just add you that, red is not an easy color to keep.

The ones in the pics must be custom

i have a 08 e92 m3 with fox red and im trying to find a set of recaros for, but i like the red and would miss it if i got black seats, so just been searching for the red. I dont want to buy a mismatched color and have it not look to good.

That's an aa made car and when I asked a thousand times about the seats they said that it was actually imola red. I think I read it on either the recaro site or it might have been eas but they do offer recaros with a special program for upholstery. When I saw these seats I just died because I wanted them so bad. I originally wanted fox red seats but settled with my black interior. I will eventually get recaro sporster cs seats and have them in fox red or anything close.

When I PM'd EAS a few months ago I was told that they do not offer this anymore. They used to have a thread going with all their work....

As far as getting a matching set of Fox Red seats when I was getting mods from IND, Andrew said that you can no longer purchase OEM BMW leather hides to exactly match fox red. You'll have to get something close to it, haven't pulled the trigger on seats yet because of it.......

Any material can be used on Recaro's S08 program, as long as it is approved by Recaro. Here's an example of what's standard (black):

Those look like Michael's previous Black/Dinamica Red seats, only about a couple of months old before returning the car to stock!

These looked awesome in person.

Leather stock is not available from BMW, it will have to be sourced from a 3rd party.

If you would like to source your own material, we can provide it to Recaro under the S08 program for custom building.

I've looked into importing fox red leather from BMW's supplier via another member on this board. The cost was pretty expensive, 135Euro per 1m2(squared) ...each hide is approximated 4-5m2 ..according to IND, they used 3 hides when they did Neilson's burn the clock project. This didn't even include shipping or the re-upholstery work to my seats. I should add that I was sent a leather sample, and they match perfectly(duh! they are OEM!)
