Arrow Whatever you do, don't read this thread

Been searching Google and the forums for quite some time to no avail. Wondering if anybody here knows of front license plate brackets that flip up/down automatically-preferably controlled from cabin and not wireless remote-that are built for the M3.

Personally, I feel front plates are unnecessary, but being the wanna-be law abiding citizen that I am, I want the option. When (not if) I get pulled over, it gets mentioned-but no tickets yet. Usually, they check right after I provide my ID/REG/INSUR which allows for plenty of time to flip it down, hypothetically.

So we're clear-I'm not looking for links to rotating license plates, devices that block out license plates, etc. Basically looking to bend (not break) the laws in the spirit of good taste.

If anybody can help me out here, I'd really appreciate it-I know they exist because I saw them on an SRT8 a while back.

The only thing about this is, it probably won't fit anywhere but on the underbody. Which means there's a huge chance it'll just rip right off. Not to mention I don't like the tongue that sticks out when it's down.

Ya that's the problem-you don't want to end up going that low because it'll definitely rip off and somebody will end up putting my plate to good use in a bank robbery or something haha.

Appreciate the help ben, the search continues...

The problem exists because of our bumper design. There is no where on the bumper with an opening long enough to hold it. You could always search for custom solution; i've found a few in the states but never local to me

one thing is, they can always check how the license plate is mounted, so they can see that it is a hide away bracket.
