Yay or nay?

I see a lot of people are excited for BFC3, which, I must admit, looks pretty awesome. The big question though is: who all is planning on picking up MW3 when it comes out and what do you think of the:

Graphics
Campaign play
Multiplayer footage
Spec op play

Also, if any of you watched any of the live COD championship games, what did you see in the MW3 maps and gameplay that excited you most?

I have the viewpoint that BF3 and the CoD games are completely different. They have the unfortunate reality of being in the same genre, even though they are different games for different types of players. I, however, enjoy playing CoD AND BC2, and I play both very differently, because they are different. So I have respect for both games.

As for MW3, it seems like its just MW2 with a few new things. Which can be good and bad, but we'll have to see. I plan on getting both BF3 and MW3. I'm excited for CoD Elite as well.

Does the video show more of the gameplay than they did during the live match? I saw it live, but wouldn't mind a more detailed/commentated vid. I think i am going to buy both as well. I have never been a BF fan, but certain aspects of the game look really exciting and interesting.

I agree with you about it kind of looking like MW2 but with a little extra. Hopefully that's not totally the case with some classes being combined to an overpowering level. I'm also hoping they use dedicated servers to prevent some of the nasty lag we have in BLack Ops. I did think it was pretty ghetto how they appear to be using those crappy looking cammo'd name tags!

Anyone else have any insight? Feel free to inbed any videos you see of the game that you find exciting as well!

The nametags are the same from MW2, thats the standard FNG nametag because well, everyone playing is an FNG, the game isnt out yet, lol.

And I doubt we will ever see dedicated servers for CoD games, unless maybe if you are on the PC side of things.

It really doesn't seem very worth it to me. I was disappointed with Black Ops and reverted back to MW2 when I wasn't playing BFBC2 or Halo 3. Honestly, I don't think I'll buy it. BF3, Halo Anniversary, and Forza will take up what little video game time I'll have.

MW2+1..

MW3 looks exactly like MW2. I'd only buy it for the story cause the MW story has been pretty good since the first one. Multiplayer has gone to shit though, too many perks and cheap ways to kill someone. BF3 all the way, plus it looks 100x better than MW3 which still looks like MW2.

I think i'll try both as well. I've really only gotten my monies' worth out of black ops and even going back to the older MWs just cuz they are a little different.

CoD* on PS3, BF* on PC. That's the way I've always done it. CoD seems like a much better console game, the BF series seem much better on a rig.

Dunno if MW3 is going to follow that, but they would have to do a helluva job to come close to BF3 on PC.

Getting both for sure. I think MW3 will be a great game. Enjoyed all of them so far so no reason I wouldnt like this one.

+1. I personally don't care about multiplayer, it is too time-consuming. So MW3 is the only option. Excited to play the NYC level!

Black ops was a let down to me... I played for two weeks and then went back to MW2. I have both BF3 and MW3 preordered.
I am kind of disappointed with MW3 already... if you watch some of the videos the red dot (it may be a Holographic for MW3) looks just like it did on the first MW as a red dot, which is ridiculous.

Reading comprehension fails you. I said I already pre-ordered the game meatball. I am disappointed that the red dot is not more realistic.

That does not equate to me not buying or playing the hell out of it.
