Probably not until sometime in 2012 - I would think 6 months or less before the Grand Prix itself.

how is the layout? any turn special or any grandstand i should try to get?

Congrats! I have no idea, I'm guessing you either want to be at turn 1 or at the end of that looooong straight for the best action.

finally Turn 4 where the second/third longest straight....

Have fun! I just found out I have a ticket for the inaugural Indian GP!! I'm pumped! Now I need to figure out how to get 3 days off in October, haha.

From F1.com. Looks like India got moved back, and USGP is now the 2nd to last on the calendar! Good dates for both:

"The FIA has released a confirmed calendar for the 2012 season following a fax vote by members of the World Motor Sport Council. The addition of the United States round makes for a 20-race season, which will get underway in Australia on March 18. The season finale will take place in Brazil on November 25.
