First weekend of driving my M3 Dakar! PLUS PICS

What a car! I simply couldn\'t stop driving it. Got about about 7 loaves of bread and 14 pints of milk now I think ...

I had an 07 Z4 Coupe before this, which I loved, but my god this is something else!

The only problem with the yellow is the amount of black flies visible on the bumper LoL!

Yeah I agree - it seems to have split the opinion of a few friends, some lve it some don't but personally I think it's great, and the black 'edition' trims look great on it with the CF roof.

Here you go ...

Hopefully this will work ... The first couple are from a text from the salesman at the BMW dealership the night before collection, the latter from when I went to view it and take it for a test drive.

Wow. Looks awesome congrats. After seeing this, I think I like Dakar better than Atacama. I had said otherwise after Selman posted pics of his Atacama E90 ...

Thanks - yeah it's a really good colour IMO - although some photos make it look brighter than it actually appears ... It's been named the custard mobile by work mates and I think it's pretty accurate

HaHa agreed.

I think I'm gonna spend more on Shampoos than I am on petrol to keep it clean. I thought black was bad

Very nice. Dakar Yellow is one of the best M3 colors. Looks really nice with black wheels.

Hi Everyone - Well I've had the car for around 2 months now, and I absolutely love it ... I've got a few better pictures now, which show the difference in the Dakar dependant on lighting and so on (especially compared to the earlier 3 photo's I posted) - These really show the colour at it's best IMO.

Hope you like them

Cheers!

Darak Yellow is far and away my favorite E9x color. Just a great looking car OP!

Interesting you found it used. I'm surprised that someone who would go as far as order an individual color would sell or trade it in so fast.
