Weird.

Well, we're only seeing a 2D pictures, it is almost impossible to speculate what it is/was.

Can you tell its origins by looking at it closely? Is it animal origin, or something like food? You should be able to see hair, or some man-made characteristics on it.

Glad the mystery is solved. I'd contact the transporting service. Tell them the story an send pictures. If they are willing to pay for cleaning great. If they seem unwilling, I would probably just clean it myself and right them a nice shitty review somewhere and send them a link to it. It's probably not worth your time and energy to fight with them. Odds are once you clean out the bulk of it, then clean the carpet all will be well. If you think you'll need to take out the seat to clean it, then maybe it's worth it to fight them to pay for someone else to clean it. The longer it sits there though, the harder it will be to clean and the longer the smell will linger. Just my .02.

Once I had my car in storage in california for a month - a mouse, rat or some rodent got into the car and made a little nest and chewed up some of my electrical lines in my 88 sterling.

When I stripped down my 99 miata for the LS6 engine swap we discovered a "nest" next to the fuel pump - it was seriously nasty with fecal matter and urine all around it.

Guys when you store your car, never store it with windows down or even just a crack - cats and various rodents may squeeze in there and make their home.

When you say it is underneath the passenger seat, do you mean underneath the roof of the bottom of the seat? or on the floor in that small cramped space underneath the seat itself? it does look like a rabbit though.. sorry to hear that man

That is such a tight space I would think cleaning would prove difficult without removing seat. Personally I would have a professional do it who has some potent chemicals to avoid problem reoccuring. There are some things just worth paying for and this is certainly one of them IMO. Best of luck!

Going to take it to the dealership.

It is directly underneath the seat on the passenger side in the small little area, above the subwoofer.
