Kerb damage

Took some of my kids camping for the weekend, so took my wife\'s 4x4 and left her with the M. Just had a four-wheel alignment to cure a left drift at speed. Returned from camping to find the steering feeling a little different. Got out and had a look ... she\'d kerbed one of the front stock 19\" wheels! Looks like a metal squirrel has taken a bite from the wheel rim. I now have to find a wheel repair place in Bucks, UK.

Has anyone any experience of getting this done? Any common pitfalls to watch out for? Is the alignment now screwed?

Thx

First: Get divorced!

Second: Depends on the damage. If just the paint is gone, there will be no problem. You will notice it on higher speeds. If the steering wheel vibrates, then something is wrong and you should check it.
