Can go quite a bit wider on the tires too, could get some of the gearing advantage from the 4.10's back (since you're stuck with the stock FD ratios) by going to a 30 series tire in back like the 285 or 295 purple crack

Good to hear there are T2 builds in the works, is this the white car I saw at Autobahn with the BBS GT4 wheels on it?

That is the car you saw. At least this weekend we will get a good idea of what the 5.0 does at Road America.

Not sure if thats good or bad, but roughly a 4 second improvement since my previous time out. I got to work on my braking engagement a bit and make it smoother.

Come on Gearhead, you can do better at WGI with that setup.

Probally but I had to drive home to Toronto It is a much better idea to do that than what happened to this Z06 when we were on the short course!

Ouch. WGI isn't forgiving...

I did a 2:15 something on heat cycled out BFGs on stock motor and brakes with pads and fluid (before they gave up on me), and I doubt that I am the faster driver although I ain't slow, so you probably have 3-4 more seconds in you if you weren't so concerned about going back to Canada in one piece.

I'll say that you can be more aggresive with the curbs into and out of 1 and into and through the bus stop. You sure you have your foot planted through the esses?

That is not my video but Montreal Red's who is one of the guys who was down there with us.Here is a video of the 1st day that I ran there in May.I am going quite a bit better now as I am attacking the bus stop & curbing a lot more now than the 1st day that was there.I might have gone faster than the 2.16 as I was in traffic and playing with a race prepared Fox body Mustang but those were the only ones that were timed by his crew and we were passing each other every other lap which was a hell of lot of fun.I love the Glen!

Well, that explains it...

I'd be curious as to what I'd now do in an E92 now that I've learned how to drive properly in an E30.

There is more time to be had there for sure but I vowed to myself that I was going to leave a good margin at a place that tolerates very little in the way of error. The group that runs these days came to Mosport last year and learned very quickly that local knowlege on these old school fast tracks is the key to going fast.Only on my 4th full day did I feel that I was getting close to my limit. It is only lapping & a school so I dont feel the reward for being on the absolute limit is worth the risk. But crap we had a pile of fun
