What the hell is the obsession with fog lights? They are useless (actually, not true; they are exceedingly good at getting broken). I am extremely pleased the E9x doesn't have them.

Do you know that most of your vision at night is peripheral? Even when it is not foggy out, a well engineered set of fog lights will project more light to the sides of your car, which in turn, extends your field of vision.

What I don't get are the people that drive around on a sunny day with fog lights blazing. As for fogs on an E9x M3

Who knows, maybe fog is a big thing where he is. Although I drove few times in fog last several months and didn't feel the need for them!
