I just bought a 5 litre jug of Lubro Moly 10w60 synthetic racetech as back-up. BavAuto has it for $39. It's made in Germany and is on the recommended oils list in Germany.

most don't know about Tischer BMW

I have several dealers within a 30 min drive so they can't really be too expensive

In Germany I just paid $160 for a case and that was very cheap compared to the 23euro I paid for the 1L I used during break in.
