Very interesting. The paper suggests the GT3 is WAY better. Interesting how two professional drivers can prove, once again, that specs are bullshit once it's on the track. I'm impressed the BMW made the GTS even that close to the GT3. Way to go, BMW M!

I do think, however, the M3 was definitely aided by the M-DCT. I wonder, if the Porsche had a DCT, would it have been faster than 1-second? I think so... Give the BMW a manual, and it would have probably been another second slower.

I want to see Tiff driving the M3. She was drifting around that track, which is not good for track times.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

ill bet if she was only a second off the gt3 in the gts tiff could match the gt3 time with the gts. Driver advantage was huge for the gt3. Tiff

My track knowledge might be a bit rusty, but why was she drifting when the objective was to get the quickest lap time?
