afaik, the car was running fine when he dropped it off in Arizona a few weeks ago.

This should be an interesting thread. You might need to do a custom wide body like MAC did to fit big enough tires on the rear.

The motor did not fail, what would make you assume that?

The Motor is in good shape and did you not see the vid of it running Mason's VT535 days before they started the build?
