There was a video on youtube compared e92 and e90 on the track, both stock and same conditions. The final result is e90 is a faster

I put 275/35ZR -19" Pilot Super Sport tires on my car, and I think it gives it a more aggressive look. I'm happy with them, but I would have gotten the PSS in OEM size if they were available. My previous PS2 wore out in 14k, so I wanted to change to the PSS. Gonna track the PSS in a couple of weeks, and I'm anxious to see how they grip.

Update:

Finally home and drove my car and I can assure you my car is much faster.

This raises the question of whether or not the exhaust system is contributing to a loss of torque. Is it true that can happen and if so, does the RPi exhaust on my brother's car decrease performance at the expense of sound? Maybe I just have a factory freak like one poster mentioned. Either way, my 08 is running strong!
