Jerez Black no longer exclusive to M3 only

BMW Canada will offer special edition 335xi in JzB

That sucks. Why would they dilute the M brand by offering one of it's "exclusive" colors?

The ruby black is a cool color though.

You could also replace the line "one of it's exclusive colors" with:

M SUV's
M cars with identical engines to standard BMW cars
Turbo engine's
Low revving engines
Electronic power steering
Buttons that read "comfort"
etc...

Too bad but understandable, marketing (sales) always wins.

I've had several people comment about how unique JB is.....

Should have chosen SSII man . Now 'baby blue' is the only exclusive color, no? Seriously, I personally don't give a rat's a$$ about a color being 'exclusive' or not, so it wouldn't be a big deal to me. But I see your point: If a color is exclusive to M cars, it should always stay that way indeed. Take care.

There are some terrible things happening in the world today. Times are tough for many. This issue isn't even a blip on my care meter.

Interlagos is still exclusive. I think Melbourne Red is too.

Exactly.

And I really hope they keep MR and IB exclusively for m cars. Too bad about the ssII situation.

Looks that way . Fortunately, I don't care one bit. I just wanted a silver M3, and SSII happened to be the only choice . And to be honest, if I had seen it before, I'd have chosen AW. I've warmed up to it now that I have black wheels and grills, but when I first got to the dealership, I asked where the hell was my car when I had it in front of me. Salesman said that's the one. I said that thing is blue man, plus it has black interior; mine is silver (was expecting Millennium silver) with gray interior. That's the one, he said. But he was stumped at the black interior. It showed as gray from the factory (and window sticker), which was weird. It has extended leather, so it'd have been a major PITA to swap interiors, so guess a QC error. Anyway, after seeing the gray interior, I was glad it was black instead, so just took it; I was 800 miles away, and color wasn't that bad after the initial shock .

I think it is a bit lame.
It should at least be a two way street. Can we have proper centre consoles on the M3 now then please?
