Garage List
2011 E92 M3  [4.80]
2013 BMW X5M  [4.33]
It kind of says a lot about the mentality of M3 owners when they say they would never drive a Mini Cooper.

Just re-read my first post.
It's a personal thing at the end, but I think Cooper s makes a better daily and a gt3 would make a better track car.

All the things you describe not liking about the e92 could have been found in a nice e46 m3-stiffer, lighter, smaller, good DD and track car....

e46m3 or ...... mini cooper hmmm

Believe it or not, the Cooper is pretty fun at the track (depending on the track). Of course you need to invest pretty heavily to make it truly setup for a DE, but do it once stock - you'll have a good time.

You're dead right about the GT3. Part of my decision to sell my 4S was looking at 5K of go-fast track parts in my office and realizing even then, it would never be a GT3.

Oh yeah, the Mini will see at least one DE and couple autox this summer/fall.

I've hear that a thicker rear sway is a must-do mod. So I will do that soon.
