Installed StopTech Trophy Brakes 380mm/355mm kit
I just installed a set of the StopTech Trophy 380mm front and 355mm rear kit!
I haven't put many miles yet, but I can already feel the improvement in pedal feel. The bite point feels higher up and slightly firmer. I can't wait to get this system on the track! We did run into a minor issue where the front left corner was shuttering under braking. I e-mailed StopTech at 8pm that evening and Pat from StopTech e-mail be back that same evening! Excellent customer service! It turns out sometimes after they change out the tooling, it can leave a finish or a burr that needs to be smoothened out. Sure enough after a few hard stops, it went away. Today I bedded in the pads and I didn't notice any shuttering. I just wanted to share with you all some photos I took of the install. Noah @ Cohesive Garage did the install and did a great job! Thanks for the kind comments guys!
As soon as the weather clears up here, I'm gonna get in a full photo shoot of the car. As far as improvements vs stock, I can already feel the pedal is firmer up top and a higher bite point. I'm not sure about shorter distances, but I when I was doing the bed in, even after 10 hard stops from 60, I felt no change in pedal feel. If anything it felt even better like it wanted to go another 10 stops! I can't wait to get this kit out on the track. |

Nice car and mods! I spent yesterday with Noah doing suspension stuff and he had a lot of nice things to say about you and your car. Can't say enough good things about Noah and Cohesive Garage. See you at the track this spring.
