Just got a bottle of 303 Aerospace Graphene protectant. I've heard very good things.
Just need to clay first, and I'll post my results. |

Have a bottle of Adams Graphene Coating I'll be trying once I get the car clayed and polished. Will follow up once I get it applied.

Glad to see some activity on this. I've heard good things about 303's version. TW just released one too that's apparently pretty easy to use. Agree that prep is most important.
Eager to hear actual user hands-on feedback as time goes on |

Matt from Obsessed Garage just finished up some longevity testing. Not sure what products he's testing.

Nice - thanks for the heads up. I also saw Pan the Organizer just did a review of TW's new graphene. I think it was sponsored but still was nice to see the product in action

I finished up coating my car after strip washing, claying, and polishing and I must say this stuff is awesome. After about 2 months and about 3-4 touch less washes the hydrophobic properties are still just like they were the day after applying the coating. The gloss on my jerez black paint is shining like it never has before.
I've been able to do all touch less washes w/o scrubbing the car to remove all dirt and grime. It rinses right off with water. I've been maintaining the coating by using Griots Ceramic wash and coat w/ my foam cannon. Then drying with Griot ceramic 3in1 wax (which is also a great product as a standalone). I spray it all over the car before towel drying. This combo for me has been perfect. Would certainly recommend Adam's Graphene.

Here is another update of a bunch of graphene coatings, pretty interesting... Indeed Adam's is doing well, as well as a few others.
I guess 303 reached out to Scott after this video and sent him a fresh bottle with speculation that his failed prematurely. Either way, here are the rest of the results: |

What do you do with these coatings once they start fading in performance and you want to recoat? You need to strip and reapply? How are they stripped off?

I used the adams and I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to wash the brake dust off with no brushing. After 3 weeks my wheels are generally coated with dust and dirt. Adams stuff kept the wheels looking relatively clean and washed off with just water. Very impressed so far and I hope the durability is there. If I get 6 months with the same performance it’s money well spent for time saved.

I'm not sure about these graphene coatings but with proper ceramic the only way to fully remove them is machine polishing. These spray coatings aren't as tough usually and will eventually wear off. Even the bar-setting TW Ice Seal & Shine will eventually succumb to chemical deterioration

i used to ask this alot a couple years ago. From experience its no big deal. You simply compound the paint the same way as if you were prepping for a coating, and repeat all the same steps. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Depending on the coating, usually a finishing polish will take it off. Just do a 1 step and re-coat. Easy to DIY.

I honestly think the whole graphene formulation process is too new and from the looks of it, longevity is about the same as ceramic. I want to try too, but will wait for another year or so when it matures.

They are also developing new ceramic coatings that are more durable than before and easier to apply such as the new Gyeon Evo line up just introduced. Right now graphene is just a marketing gimmick companies are applying to their products to sell more product. I think it'll be a while before any real benefits arrive.
