I was actually going to try it on a pair of Continental rear tires that I replaced at 9K miles. But after I read it, I found out I would have to wear down all four, and on the staggered OE setup that's not very feasible. And even with a square setup, by the time you rotate and get all four worn down, the amount of adjustment would be negligible, which I guess is their goal.
