I'm confused. Shown are both springs and dampers in the coilover setup. Are the springs alone designed to work with the EDC dampers that are retained or are they implying the entire system will work with the M-Drive's EDC controls? Meaning, swap out the EDC dampers with special H&R dampers that can somehow be rigged so that the damping can be adjusted by the car's electronics as it does the original EDC dampers that are to be replaced.

Just trying to shed some more light on whether to order my M3 with or without EDC. Loved the EDC's ability to go from comfy to firm in my M5. Made it great for city driving while switching to firm made it feel very competent at the track.
