You just learn to drive "lowered". You watch out for pot holes or other areas that could be detrimental to your car depending on how low your car is. You learn to take angles or the long way if needed. I've been driving a lowered vehicle for about 16 yrs now and all these things help, but doesn't guarantee something won't happen (knocks on wood).
