Yes but who's to say a V6 couldn't be part of a new strategy of more economical turbo engines? BMW simply cannot continue to produce vehicles with average fuel economy in the teens (including and especially M cars). The fact BMW released the X5 M rated at 17 mpg
hwy is mind boggling.
