I posted this in the main forum, but this thread is probably more appropriate. I've read and experienced the "clunk" associated with M cars when disengaging/pushing in the clutch. I'm fine with that, since all cars have it. But I have another thing that I can't tell if it's normal or not. So I'm hoping 6MT users can chime in.

Basically I can feel the clutch friction/grab point when *engaging* the clutch after shifting to N. And I don't remember this in any of my other manual tranny cars. I just don't recall feeling (and even hearing the vibration) the friction/grab point when engaging the clutch with the shifter in N! Is this normal? I'd hate to go ask the dealer to look at it and waste time and also look like an idiot!
