So I just tried to schedule a yearly oil change at my dealer. It was last changed on Sept. 4, 2009. The dealer would not let me get it changed under the "old" maintenance plan on August 31st. Apparently BMW's guidance is very specific and states that it must be exactly a year before they will pay for an oil change. So it looks like I'll be paying for one next month.
