dealer allocations do not affect ED sales; ED cars do not come out of a dealer allocation. so, moving toward an ED deal should not be delayed by 2013 allocation. it is a function of getting a production slot for ED and coordinating the delivery date.
this may seem like semantics, but it is not. there are two distinct processes, and it is important for you to know that your ED does not potentially take away another sale from the dealer in question.
your dealer may simply be waiting to hear when a 2013 ED can be coordinated.
i'd highly suggest contacting an M3post sponsor with much ED experience. i am only familiar with Ryan at Steve Thomas BMW, who has done countless ED deals for M3posters all over the country. give him a shot at your deal, you will not be disappointed.
