I wanted to throw out this idea with everyone who's keen on a harness for the track day (including myself)
I am speaking with AE Performance to possibly fabricate a harness bar main from T-304 Stainless Steel, all mandrel bent tube, and TIG welded; powdercoated in any color you guys likefor about $400 range under $500. This is a bolt on harness bar that can be removed easily and bolts on to our car's B-pillar.
Sure this is not an alternative to a roll cage by any means but it is very useful for a 4-pt harness and opens up options for us to buy any harness we want.
I need to get a set of 5 orders for them to go ahead with this production and I want to gauge interest here before I start a dedicated thread with more specific info.
