Steering feel

Does this mean that software changes, either aftermarket or as part of a BMW service could potentially improve steering feel in the future?
I doubt it. The amount of boost can be varied by software, but true "feel" of road undulations probably cannot be changed much. There are many posts that the steering is just fine, and I'm not too worried about it. If this were a track car, you would want every nuance of the surface revealed to your finger tips, but for a very sporty street car, that is of slightly less concern since you typically shouldn't dirve more than 7/10ths in those environs. For those times you take it to the track, I'm sure it will be just fine.
