I find it most satisfying to beat the hell out of my M3 in street trim (with the exception of the race pads). I don't mind paying for the consumables at all and based on the last outing at VIR, it's not really going to be an issue. My pads are good, my tires are good, flushed the brake fluids just in case and I'm ready for another weekend at VIR next week! I love how I drive to and from the track with EDC on comfort and with one push of the M button, I am in my track setting.
