Sorry I didn't see your earlier posts asking about the K40, because I would have told you that it is a piece of junk. Last year my mother bought an Audi S8 and the dealer told her to get a built in radar detector because the car is so fast. Two of my friends had K40's installed (M3 & Quattroporte) and they liked them, so I ordered one for her.
I thought it was pretty good until I actually came across a cop. Needless to say I got my first speeding ticket (8 years of driving)
, and no warning from the K40
. I drove the car on another trip and saw some cops that I would have detected with my Bel STi, but the K40 was quiet. I will not drive that car without my STi anymore.

The stereo shop brought in a guy specially to install it on the car which was very good. His install of the LEDs was better than yours in that they shine down on the Speedo and Tach making them look backlit instead of blinding the driver. Not that it matters because the K40 is junk anyways.
