Heard today that the NASCAR Nationwide series is coming to Mid-Ohio next summer, which I think is great.
I know NASCAR isn't everyone's bag, but still, anytime you can get a major league series like that to your track it's a positive. I for one find the road courses to be fun in NASCAR because it is so much different for the teams. I like the hot shoe drivers that come in (Said Heads will be out in force I'm sure) and the strategy differences. Those cars are stinking LOUD too if you've never seen them in person.
Anyway, let the NASCAR hate flame on if you want, but I see this as a great win for Mid-Ohio. Now if they could get the Sprint Cup there in a few years....
I for one will be there drinking Busch beer without a shirt on.
