This is not my intension but it does not harm to know about the need of flex sections of the CP.
In addition most install a CP and a high flow airfilter, getting ( questionable ? ) 8-13 hp. The airfilter alone should provide 5-8 hp. Is a CP worth the hassle ? Do we have dyno confirmations ?
BTW, I had fun to mod my former 335i and it provided quite good power. I really hesitate to start modding the M3 (power-wise), it's already a very nice tuned car stock. Supercharger, stroker engine ? YES ... but later, much later
