John just updated my car on Saturday.

Thus far, I've noticed 2 differences:
1. throttle sensitivity in 1st and 2nd gears are now less sensitive. The car is less jerky and much easier to drive at parking lot speeds. I have a 6MT. Across the rev range in other gears, power delivery is smoother and less jerky. There's also less buckling as you let off the gas at mid-high RPM ranges.

2. I am getting better highway mpgs (by about 2 mpg), so I'll keep my eye on long term differences, but this is what I observed off the bat, but consistent with smoother/less sensitive throttle response.

I cannot feel any HP bump, or more sensitive throttle as others have indicated. All my observations has been consistent with lower throttle sensitivity. Overall, this update is worth it to me as I'm keeping my car for the long term. Low speed drivability is very usable and the smoother power delivery is also a plus.
